Protecting Children in CBRNe Incidents: Guidelines for Civil Society

Our second policy brief is now available!

The recently published PROACTIVE Guidelines for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) aim to promote the safety of children in CBRNe incidents. These guidelines are based on our preliminary results, which identified that EU Member States lack an approach to enhance societal preparedness and response policies to CBRNe events that integrate the needs of children. This policy brief provides critical recommendations for CSOs working with minors to promote their safety in CBRNe incidents in three stages (before, during and after the event). Overall, it recommends the development of solid and long-term collaboration between First Responders (FR) and CSOs.
